Innovative Aquarium Systems provides many options to aqua scape your aquarium. IAS's design options include beautiful real coral with accented base rock to give a sterile pristine look or synthetic coral reef structures that provide a realistic look and texture for your aquatic environment.
Innovative Aquarium Systems can also provide complete artificial aquarium exhibits and dry zoological displays of any kind. Our synthetic coral designs have many benefits and features including:
- Synthetic corals look amazingly real once submersed in water
- Lightweight, extreme durability and non-toxicity.
- Minimum water displacement once the coral form is placed in the aquarium.
- The rock substrate is made in a puzzle-like structure to allow the displays easy fitting through the top openings of any aquarium.
- Since the fiberglass display naturally sinks in saltwater, it does not need any fixation such as screws and bolts, hence it does not interfere with the existing waterproofing of the tank.
- Can be specially built to be shark and turtle resistant.
- The coloring of the reef rock and corals can be made either with bright or subdues colors or any shade in between, to suit your tastes.
- Artificial reefs and corals are the perfect ecological solution since no living corals are ever used in the construction process, which only employs resin, fiberglass and epoxys
Below are some samples of custom fiberglass reef forms:
